Dunces

As found is this quote :

Jonathan Swift :
"When a true genius appears in this world, you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him."

I wondered what "Dunces" meant :

Etymology: Eponymous, from John Duns Scotus, who was ironically a well-known Scottish thinker. His followers, however, opposed the philosophers of the Renaissance, and thus "dunce" was first used to describe someone rejecting new knowledge in 1530; later, any stupid person.[1]

Noun dunce (plural dunces)
Definition : One backward in book learning; a child or other person dull or weak in intellect; a dullard; a dolt.

Playing for change

It sneaked in my inbox through a usual mail chain.
I almost deleted it right away...
But, I found few minutes to spare.  My "smoke break" for non smokers.

The voices, the music are soo deep, with soo many harmonics and an astonishing interpretation.  It freshens up this classic :

Then, I wonder what is was all about.  And did my little research.  I found this amazing org, putting forward real projects with a great web 2.0 mediatic spin.
The Playing for change foundation is dedicated to connecting the world through music by providing resources to musicians and their communities around the world.
Look at one of their latest achievement and pay attention to the emotion of the "visitors" on site ;-)

... One more before you go back to work!...
I'm amazed by their perfect mix of worldwide spread music styles, instruments, signers.
The followin clip, to celebrate the Earth's 7 billion people is worth watching too :
